Biohazard cleanup in Islip
The Town of Islip covers a lot of ground and a lot of housing types, from the waterfront at Bay Shore to the denser blocks around Central Islip and Brentwood.
What we run into in Islip
Islip is really several different jobs under one town name. A waterfront property in Bay Shore or Oakdale, a 1950s cape in West Islip and an apartment off Suffolk Avenue in Central Islip need different plans for containment, parking and how material leaves the building. We ask which part of the town you are in before we say anything about timing.
- Detached houses with basements and crawlspaces, where fluid that reaches the subfloor ends up on the joists and the basement ceiling below.
- Private driveways, so the van sits off the road and material never crosses a public sidewalk.
- Attached garages that give us a staging area out of sight.
- Septic systems across much of the area, which changes how waste water is handled.

Homeowners, adult children clearing a parent's house, landlords and estate executors, and occasionally a town or a police department.
Getting a crew in and material out
Access is usually straightforward. We ask about driveway width, whether there is a basement or crawlspace under the affected room, and whether anyone needs to stay in the house while we work.
Nearby areas we also cover
Bay Shore, Sayville, Central Islip, Brentwood, West Islip, Oakdale, Holbrook — and the rest of Suffolk County. Nothing here is a limit on where we go; call and ask if your street is not named.
